1 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY - RESIDENTIAL

Recovery Products

Biotastic guarantees to the original consumer/purchaser that all our products including Ice Pods, Arctic & Chillers, Saunas, and Red Light Therapy devices, are free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year from the original date of purchase. Below are the specific warranty terms for each product category.

General Warranty Exclusions

The following items are not covered under the warranty:
● Consumables: Filters, UV-C bulbs, quartz tubes, and any other consumable parts are
not covered under this warranty.
● Cosmetic Issues: Minor cosmetic imperfections or damages that do not affect
functionality (e.g., scratches, dents).
● Wear and Tear: Normal wear and tear from daily use.
● Improper Use or Installation: Damage resulting from improper installation, neglect,
misuse, or unauthorized modifications.
● External Factors: Damage caused by accidents, weather conditions, or acts of nature.

Warranty Conditions

This warranty is void if Biotastic or its designated representative determines that the product has been subjected to damage due to:
● Non-genuine Biotastic parts or accessories.
● Failure to follow proper maintenance instructions.
● Commercial use unless specifically sold and covered as a commercial product.
● Installation or repairs conducted by unauthorized persons.

What We Will Do

At Biotastic discretion, we will repair or replace any defective product or component that has been installed, used, and serviced under normal conditions during the warranty period. If repair or replacement is not feasible, we may reimburse the purchase price in exchange for the product’s return. Replacement parts may differ from original components and are subject to availability.

What You Must Do

To claim warranty service, contact the retailer or distributor where the product was purchased,
providing your original sales receipt and a description of the issue. If purchased directly from Biotastic, please contact us via email with your order number and purchase date.

Warranty Limitations

This Limited Warranty applies to residential use only. Any use in a commercial setting will void the warranty unless the product is specifically sold as a commercial unit. The warranty is non-transferable and only valid for the original purchaser.

Shipping and Service Costs

● You are responsible for the cost of shipping the product for warranty claims.
● If a technician is required to visit your location, travel mileage and service charges may apply.
● Removal and reinstallation costs for repairs conducted at a repair facility are the
responsibility of the product owner.

DISCLAIMERS

BIOTASTIC AND ITS REPRESENTATIVES WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, including but not limited to, water damage, loss of use, or any costs arising from the use of the product. Liability is limited to the original purchase price of the product.

This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights depending on your location. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so these limitations may not apply. Limited Warranty – Cold Therapy Devices

Biotastic’s cold therapy products, including ICE PODs, NeoPod, Arctic X, and Chillers, are built to deliver high-performance recovery while maintaining safety and durability. We proudly support your wellness journey with structured warranty and support policies for both residential and commercial use.

All of our chillers are equipped with a safety mechanism, allowing them to be used while plugged in, however for additional precaution, we are strictly against entering the chiller while operational .Please note that Biotastic is not responsible for any damage that occurs. 

Warranty Activation Date

All Biotastic product warranties commence from the date of delivery, not the date of purchase. This ensures our customers receive the full benefit of the warranty coverage based on when the product physically reaches them.

Example: Order was placed on 01/07/2025 and the product was delivered on 03/07/2025. The warranty gets activated on 03/07/2025.

  • NeoPod: 1-Year Limited Warranty

  • Chiller: 13 months Limited Warranty
  • IcePod : 1-Year Limited Warranty

Commercial Use Coverage

  • ICE PODs (All Models): 8-Months Warranty (commercial use)
  • NeoPod, Arctic X: 8-Months Warranty
  • Chiller: 8 months 

What’s Covered

  • Internal cooling systems and components
  • Control panels, valves, fittings, and structural elements
  • Leakage due to manufacturing faults (not misuse)
  • Power supply components (if integrated)

What’s NOT Covered

  • Cosmetic wear and tear (scratches, fading, discoloration, cracks, or dents)
  • Damage due to misuse, neglect, or improper installation
  • Power surges, improper electrical connections, or external electrical damage
  • Water exposure, waterlogging, standing moisture, or spillage
  • Unauthorized modifications, tampering, or attempted repairs
  • Use of accessories or parts not manufactured or approved by Biotastic
  • Commercial use or overloading (unless explicitly pre-approved)
  • Damage during resale, third-party handling, or unauthorized transit
  • Consumables such as filters, seals, hoses, or liners
  • Tears, punctures, or ruptures in PVC liner caused by sharp objects or excessive force
  • Use in outdoor or high-humidity environments (unless specified)
  • Labour, installation, or technician visit charges
  • Damage during transit after 7 days from delivery
  • Damage caused by accidents or abuse

Warranty is Voided If:

  • Product is resold or transferred to a new owner without authorization
  • Product is modified, dismantled, disassembled, or relocated improperly
  • Unauthorized repairs are performed
  • Product is used contrary to instructions or with incompatible accessories
  • No voltage stabilizer is provided (where required)
  • Product is used outdoors or in high-humidity environments without protection
  • Product is exposed to water, harsh environments, or chemical agents
  • Product is installed outside of Biotastic’s official guidelines
  • Unit is filled with untreated or hard water beyond recommended TDS
  • Proof of purchase or valid serial number is missing or tampered with
  • Product is used outside India without prior agreement

What We’ll Do 

  • Provide free replacement parts (subject to availability) for covered issues during the warranty period
  • Repair or replace the unit if a verified manufacturing defect occurs
  • Offer a replacement, exchange, or refund at Biotastic’s discretion if repair is not feasible
  • Coordinate shipping or pickup as per our service policy
  • Customer must cooperate with all shipping instructions and packaging standards

Limitations of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Biotastic, including its parent company, affiliates, directors, employees, and authorized representatives, shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, special, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to:

  • Personal injury or bodily harm caused due to improper handling/setup
  • Property damage
  • Loss of income, revenue, or profits
  • Business interruption or downtime
  • Loss of  functionality of Product
  • Cost of substitute goods or services
  • Any other intangible or incidental losses

These limitations apply whether the claim arises from the use or misuse of Biotastic products, improper installation, lack of maintenance, third-party alterations, unforeseen malfunctions, or otherwise—even if Biotastic has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Total Liability Cap:
In no event shall Biotastic’s total liability exceed the original purchase price of the product giving rise to the claim, regardless of the form of action (contract, tort, warranty, strict liability, or otherwise).

Warranty Exception:
This limitation applies independently of any warranty remedies provided. Where applicable, Biotastic’s obligation shall be limited to repair, replacement, or refund, as outlined in the official warranty terms.

Jurisdiction Clause:
All disputes arising from or in connection with Biotastic products or services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai, India. No other court or legal authority shall have jurisdiction over such matters.

What to Expect from Natural Wood

Your sauna is built with high-grade wood that continues to breathe and respond to its environment — that’s what makes it beautiful and real.

Because of that, the following are normal and not covered as defects:

  • Small cracks or “checking” from expansion/contraction
  • Variations in color, grain, or texture
  • Minor blemishes or scuffs from global shipping
  • Surface-level dents or scratches that don’t affect function

Before shipping, every sauna is inspected and tested for several hours. While slight transit wear may occur, most blemishes can be easily treated with furniture oil, polish, or light sanding. Avoid harsh chemical treatments with benzene or high-alcohol content.

Warranty is Voided If:

  • Product is resold or transferred to a new owner without authorization
  • Product is modified, dismantled, disassembled, or relocated improperly
  • Unauthorized repairs are performed by customers.
  • Product is used contrary to instructions or with incompatible accessories

What we’ll do

If your sauna experiences a covered issue:

  • We’ll ship replacement parts free of charge during the warranty period
  • We may replace with new or refurbished components (at our discretion)
  • If a fix is not possible, we may offer a replacement unit depending on the situation
  • We do not cover disassembly, disposal, or reinstallation
  • Coordinate shipping or pickup as per our service policy
  • Customer must cooperate with all shipping instructions and packaging standards
